This is a real-time demo using the new terrain system of UNIGINE 2.10 (based on satellite data): https://developer.unigine.com/en/devlog/20191225-unigine-2.10
1000x1000 km area size, 8x8 km high-detailed zone (0.25 m / pixel mask density, 1 mm / pixel for detailed 4K textures). Dynamic craters (100x100x25 m) can be placed in real-time anywhere. There are no static meshes involved, only a terrain object.
